Remembrance of Al-Quds Day

Assalamualaikum and greetings.
21st August is al-Aqsa Day.
This year, al-Aqsa Day falls on Friday, 21st August 2009, in all likelyhood, a day before the blessed month of Ramadhan which begins on Saturday. What is the significance of al-Aqsa Day and what is the background to it's commemoration/remembrance? The date has been chosen by the Malaysian government as a mark of brotherhood and solidarity with the Palestinian people and to renew her commitments to the Palestinian cause. This brings the next question? What is the significance of 21st August that it was specifically earmarked as the al-Aqsa Day?
The background to this is the occupation of East Jerusalem and the West Bank when the zionist army overran these territories apart from the Gaza strip, the Sinai peninsular and the Golan Heights in 1967. The United Nations Security Council convened and unanimously adopted resolution 242 on 22nd November in the same year which condemns Israel and demanded the withdrawal of Israeli forces back to the Green line of 1949. Such illegal occupation as the consequence of the so-called six day war of 1967 however remain to this day, except for the return of the Sinai peninsular to Egypt as part of the Camp David peace agreement signed between Egypt and Israel in 1978. Since then, Egypt and Israel became peace partners and Egypt is to ensure that the Palestinian issue will not in anyway jeopordizes the security of Israel. Under such humiliation, Egypt closed the Rafah crossing, preventing aid reliefs into Gaza and even denying injured Gazans from seeking medical treatment in the wake of the Israeli attack early this year.
The occupation of 1967 has lead to numerous threats to the al-Aqsa mosque and other religious symbols and places of worship in and around East Jarusalem. Extremist jewish groups has been calling for the demolition of the al-Aqsa mosque and the takeover of the Haram al-sharif for the construction of the Solomon's temple (Haikal Sulaiman). Jewish settlers have been incited to dispense their religious duty to finance and lobby for the construction of the temple on the ruins of al-Aqsa mosque. Arab properties were expropriated to rid of Arab residence in the neighbourhood of al-Aqsa to make way for more kibbutz or jewish settlements. In the name of archeological excavations, tunnels were dug around and beneath the Haram as-Shariif in search for the ruins of the temple razed during the Roman period. The excavation works has apparently affected the foundation of the Usmaniah mosque. These tunnels were dug in secrecy but their cover was blown when it was discovered by Syeikh Raed Salah who brought to the attention of the muslim world the predicaments of Islam's third holiest mosque. They also took over the al.Maghariba gate, the main entrance to the al-Aqsa mosque.Other places of worship were also not spared by the the zionist sacrilage and these include the church of the holy Sepulcher (the church of al-Qiamah) and the Greek orthodox church.



To deal with these threats on the future of al Aqsa, 23 Islamic countries convened at Kuala lumpur in April 1969 and passed a number of resolutions to safeguard the sanctity of Jarusalem and it’s vicinity. However such international efforts to allay everyone’s fear for the safety of al Aqsa was dashed on August 21st when an Australian national by the name of Michael Dennis Rohan set the sacred mosque ablazed.
A report in the Jewish media Yediot Aharanot alleged that a temple will be built on the exact spot where al Aqsa is on August 21st suggesting that the arson was a deliberate act orchestrated by the Zionist higher authority. Dennis Rohan was put on trial, declared insane by the court and immediately deported to Australia. In a more recent tragedy when a group of worshippers were gunned down during the dawn prayer at the Ibrahimi mosque (Hebron) by a lone jewish gunman, the court also found the latter mentally unfit to stand trial.
The tragedy has triggered a summit meeting of muslim countries in Rabat from the 22nd to 25th September, 1969. Three muslim leaders played a pivotal role in calling for the summit; YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra al Haj, King Faisal of Saudi and King Hassan of Maghribi. A key resolution was reached i.e. any peace effort to end the conflict that does not include the restoration of Jerusalem back to it’s status prior to the 1967 Israeli war of aggression will not be acceptable. A permanent secretariat was established in Jeddah and YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman, the first Prime Minister of Malaysia was appointed as the first Secretary Genderal. These events which can be traced back to the Kuala Lumpur initiaves in April 1969 have paved the way for the birth of OIC (Organization of Islamic Conference) as we knew it today. Following the summit, YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman attended the 23rd United Nations General Assembly held in November of the same year, carrying the aspirations and demands from the summit meeting in Rabat. YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman successfully convinced the General Assembly to again recognize and to reinstate the question of Palestine in the UN agenda after it has been dropped in 1952. As a result resolution 2535B (XXIV) was passed on 10th December 1969, which reaffirms the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people towards their homeland and the rights for self determination. The instrumental role of YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra al-Haj should be given a special place in the history of the international struggle for the liberation of Palestine.
Since 1969, Kuala Lumpur has officially chosen 21st August as a day to strengthen the solidarity with the Palestinian people and to renew her commitments towards the liberation of Palestine. Pos Malaysia has issued commemorative stamps on 21st August in 1978 and again in 1982 to garner national and international support for the Palestinian cause. Over the years, al Aqsa day seems to have lost it’s fervor. It was a commendable effort especially by the students at the higher institution of learning to revive 21st August during the last couple of years and to rebrand it as the ROQ (Remembrance of al Aqsa). We urge the government to relive this legacy of the late YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra al-Haj by again reinstating the al Aqsa Day of 21st August as a national day of observance to strengthen our solidarity with the Palestinian people.

I`m totally speechless after watching this video... Subhanallah...Have you watch this vid? You`ve got to watch it! ..This vid is actually a TV commercial telling the story of Khalid Al-Walid and his unwavering love for Rasululllah s.a.w. It is said that Khalid, in the middle of a battle, stopped fighting to look for his helmet where he had kept the strands of Prophet Muhammad`s(s.a.w) hair. (Why can`t Malaysia has this kind of commercial on TV? Negara Islam Hadhari la kononnye, i`ve seen a lot of craps on TV and rubbish + pointless Malay movies..we suppose to have more of these kind of adverts on TV to spread the message of Islam, maybe somebody should start it..TV advertisements is the easiest and most effective way to deliver the message of Islam!)



Khālid ibn al-Walīd (592-642) (Arabic: خالد بن الوليد) also known as Sayf-'ullah al-Maslul (the Drawn Sword of God, God's Withdrawn Sword, or simply Sword of God), was one of the two famous Muslim generals of the Islamic Rashidun army during the Muslim conquests of the 7th Century. (See also: 'Amr ibn al-'As.) He is noted for his military prowess, commanding the forces of Muhammad(Peace be upon him) and those of his immediate successors of the Rashidun Caliphate; Abu Bakr and Umar ibn al-Khattab.He has the distinction of being undefeated in over a hundred battles, against the numerically superior forces of the Byzantine Roman Empire, Sassanid Persian Empire, and their allies, he is regarded as one of the finest military commanders in history. His greatest strategic achievements were his swift conquest of the Persian Empire and conquest of Roman Syria within three years from 633 to 636, while his greatest tactical achievements were his successful double envelopment maneuver at Walaja and his decisive victories at Firaz, Ullais and Yarmouk.

Khalid ibn Walid was from the Meccan tribe of Quraish, who opposed Muhammad (Peace be upon him), and he played a vital role in their victory at the Battle of Uhud. He accepted Islam, however, and joined Muhammad(Peace be upon him) after the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah and commanded various expeditions for him, such as the Battle of Mu'tah. After Muhammad(Peace be upon him)'s death, he played a key role in commanding Medinan forces for Abu Bakr in the Ridda wars, the capture of the Sassanid Arab client Kingdom of Al-Hirah, and the defeat of the Sassanid Persian forces during his conquest of the Persian Empire. He then crossed the desert to capture the Byzantine Arab client state of the Ghassanids during his conquest of Roman Syria. Even though Umar later relieved him of high command, he remained the effective leader of the forces arrayed against the Byzantines during the early stages of the Byzantine-Arab Wars. Under his command, Damascus was captured in 635 and the key Arab victory against the Roman Byzantine forces was achieved at the Battle of Yarmuk (636), which led to the conquest of the Bilad al-Sham (Levant).

Renewal of detention of 13 Muslim Brotherhood leaders

The State Security Prosecution today decided to renew the detention of thirteen Muslim Brotherhood members for a further 15 days after being arrested in an unjustified crackdown on May 14th, where they with may stand before the prosecutor on July 8th.

The MB detainees are: Dr. Osama Nasr al-Din ( a member of MB Executive Bureau), Dr. Hussam Abu Bakr ( Head of the MB administrative office in East Cairo), Dr. Ibrahim Mustafa, Eng. Hisham Saqr (Cairo), Ashraf Abdel-Samee, Dr. Mohamed Saad Alioua (Giza), Ali Abdel-Fattah, Dr. Issam Al-Haddad (Alexandria), Mohamed Ezzbawi, Mahmoud Al-bara (Gharbia), Al-Husseini Mohammad Al-Shami Eng. Hassan Shaalan (Dakahliya), and Islamic writer Waleed Shalabi (Al-Sharqia)

On this note the Muslim Brotherhood lawyers lodged an appeal against the detention order of Dr. Amir Bassam, a MB high-ranking leader in Al-Sharqia at the end of May, after being held for more than a week in Bilbeis Police Station despite the decision of his release by the Supreme State Security Prosecution. However, the hearing on the petition has not yet been determined.

It is worth mentioning that the State Security Services raided the headquarters of faculty members of Assiut University and arrested Dr. Bassam on the 23rd of April 2009. The State Security Prosecution overruled twice that he remained in custody on charges of supporting the Palestinians during the recent Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Dr. Bassam was one of those placed in custody in the famous Martial Court trials in which he received an acquittal after a year and a half detention with a number of other MB leaders.

I`ve found this vid on Youtube..and felt really sad about the news... i fell in love with Islam and da`wah path because of his book,'Apa Ertinya Saya Menganut Islam'.. (eng version 'To Be A Muslim')..i still remembered my first Usrah with all the Usrahmates (that was 2 years ago) using this book as reference for our Usrah. The book has inspired me to be what i am today, and made me fell in love with Usrah and tarbiyyah ever since the first time i read it. And now, i am using the same book for my Usrah and i would remind my fellow usrahmate about the author who have written the inspiring book. Another inspiring book by Dr Sheikh Fathi Yakan, a MUST READ “Mengapa Saya Berintima’ dengan Islam?".

From the video, Dr Fathi Yakan is commenting about Allah`s promise that Islam shall win once again, even though he was 76 years old but he still istiqamah with da`wah path, continue to inspire the Ummah with his words, wisdom and deliver 'ilm and da`wah until the end of his life..Subhanallah.. Southern Thailand Crisis - Asimilasi 'Kesiaman'

Isu kekejaman di Selatan Thailand sebenarnya bukanlah isu terpencil. Di mana-mana, di seluruh dunia berlaku kekejaman yang seruapa, cuma mungkin dalam bentuk yang sedikit berbeza. Bukan secara kebetulan, mangsa pergolakan di dunia ini adalah Umat Islam. Bermula tahun 2003, pelancaran perang secara besar-besaran terhadap umat Islam telah dimulakan oleh Amerika dan sekutunya Eropah, ke atas negara Umat Islam. Bermula dengan perang ke atas Iraq, Afghanistan sehinggalah ke hari ini, label pengganas sudah semakin sebati dengan Umat Islam.

Jika diperhati dengan teliti, isu keganasan di Peshawar, Selatan Thailand, Filipina, dan yang paling teruk di Palestin, memperlihatkan Umat Islam sebagai pengganas dan "diganasi". Kerakusan pemerintah memperlakukan Umat Islam sedemikian rupa disokong pula dengan kempen "Anti-Terrorist" tajaan Amerika dan sekutu, perasmian kempen ini pula bermula sejurus selepas peristiwa September 11.

Jika merujuk kepada sejarah, pemberontakan Umat Islam di Selatan Thailand ini dikaitkan dengan sejarah Perjanjian Anglo Siam 1909 yang telah membahagikan Negeri Melayu di Utara. Wilayah Selatan Thai yang terdiri daripada Pattani, Narathiwat, dan Yala pada asalnya adalah sebahagian daripada Tanah Melayu tetapi telah diserahkan oleh British kepada negara Thai menerusi perjanjian Bangkok 1909.

Diskriminasi pihak kerajaan juga usaha untuk mengasimilasikan penduduk selatan Thai dengan adat dan budaya Thai yang menganut Agama Buddha telah menimbulkan reaksi kurang senang oleh Umat Islam Selatan Thai. Semua penduduk dilarang berbahasa dengan selain daripada Bahasa Siam, serta mengurangkan pendidikan agama Islam menerusi ancaman yang mereka kenakan terhadap guru-guru Agama Islam di sana.

Kekejaman demi kekejaman dilakukan ke atas umat Islam, malah kesalahan itu dituding pula kepada Umat Islam. Umat Islam sering dianggap bersalah kerana terlalu vokal menyatakan bantahan dan pembelaan ke atas nasib saudaranya sendiri.

Sehingga kini lebih 3700 nyawa umat Islam Selatan Thai telah menjadi korban. Separuh daripada jumlah itu adalah guru-guru dan imam-imam yang sentiasa diburu oleh kerajaan siam.

I found this video on Youtube, though it is an old track from Ian Brown album ‘The World is Yours’ released in December 2007. The first time I heard this song is in 2007, a sister from Islamic Emirate sent this song to me, I found that the lyric in this song is very enlightening, provoking the world political issues and dealing with the truth behind hidden agenda of the wars (War Against Terrorism initiated by USA in 2003). This song contains powerful message of what are the motives behind War Against Terror founded by USA and its allies.. this vid is actually a remix of the original song 'Illegal Attacks' this version is the remix plus rap by Ghanaian-British rapper Sway DaSafo, and was given a new title 'Illegal Attacks plus Soldier Story Remix-Ian Brown feat Sway DaSafo'.. i praise Sway Da Safo for an excellent rap lines about a soldier`s life in the battlefield (you`re da man!)..ok, let`s hear the song and ponder the lyrics...ops, this song contains some uncensored words, but let`s just ponder the powerful message behind this song.. Ever since United States of America has started its campaigns of ‘War Against Terror’ in 2003, its allies, some of the countries had join forces to support this campaign including United Kingdom, sending its troops to Afghanistan and Iraq. The countries and its people were pushed into never ending wars and we have no idea the physical and emotional calamities that the soldiers have gone through, I have read the news that some of the soldiers had suffered from various psychological illnesses after went back from war zones, some of them even commit suicide. The effects of war are not a size of a ‘dog in a fight’. The effects are more than we can even think of. That was on the behalf of the soldiers, how about the people of the countries who are severely affected by the illegal attacks? being bombed, crude and brutally murdered, lost their loved ones, suffer economic deprivation, lack of facilities etc etc… ?

As the song continue….’ It's a commercial crusade, 'Cause all the oil men get paid’ which shows that the campaigns were not about to eradicate the Talibans, Al-Qaida Network or international Terrorist Organization but just mere military charade campaigns, more like an oil robbery to boost up the Western countries economy, in the name of War on Terror..

Fiesta Al Amin 2009

I`ve seen the advertisement about the Fiesta Al-Amin Bangi on the notice board recently... It`s been told that every Clubs and Societies must do an exhibition about the flow of activities organized (the Director of the Fiesta says that the exhibition was COMPULSORY!!) .. and i am thinking hard about what to exhibit for the English Language Society..it`s my first time of handling a society, and i think that the activities are getting quite monotonous and boring (they said that it involves a lot of activities with papers, so it`s boring).....wokey.. time to revive English Language Society!!..

erm, reminiscing back about the co-curricular activities back in my school years, (actually i always play truant when the co-curricular activities were being held, it`s always on Saturdays..and urgghh my favourite cartoon 'Dragonballz is on Saturday, it just something that i cannot miss!! hehehe ..but that was five years ago where the co-curricular activities are not being stress).. who knows that one day i`m going to be a teacher and an advisor of a Society, eh? ..

hoorayy!!... i knew it!! with all the chaos and dirty tactics used by BN, People just don`t buy it...lol..!! it`s a slam dunk though with super Majority of votes (5,558 votes), the majority of votes even double up from the last election!! ...takbir!! Allahuakbar!!...

Penanti is one of the DUN (Dewan Undangan Negeri) under the Parliament of Permatang Pauh ,Penanti is near my home, Bukit Mertajam.. My Mom went to cast her vote there and she was so esctatic with the winning of YB Mansor Othman.. here`s the result of the DUN Penanti Election.. sorry guys, you can`t get Penang back man, no wayy!!! save all the filthy, dirty tactics in Perak, not Penang, sorry!! especially Permatang Pauh, the hardrock fortress of PKR and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim..

Barca La Campeon!!! Champions League 2009 Review

I haven`t miss watching the final of Champions League for 4 years in a row, but this year i have to miss it, (there`s no TV at my home), i think that it is better not to have TV at home, because i will always be the one who watching it especially during football season..lol.. but i`m glad anyway coz all the football fever was over.., now it`s time for holliday (not really a holliday duhh.. with stacks of mid year exam papers waiting to be mark, KRS course, report etc etc..)

It`s definitely a Super Duper fantastic match between two gigantic world reknown football clubs, Man Utd and Barcelona FC!! What a match, but i definitely knew it from the start that Barca will win since Real Madrid, Ajax, Juventus and Bayern Munchen (read Bayern Munich) were totally out from the beginning!! Both of the finalists are my favourite clubs beside Ajax and Arsenal..it is obviuos that Barca has outshined Man Utd from the start.. From my opinion, Barca has strength in every part: midfiled, defense and strikers position...plus,the covalent attach between its members are strong with good communication skills and teamwork.

I`m glad that Football darlings Thierry Henry and Andreas Iniesta were given chance to be in action (I`ve heard earlier that Guardiola won`t let them on the field because of injury)..with Thierry Henry joined the team last year (Dear Thierry Henry, you`ve made the right decision babe!), it looks like Barca has became the world most undefeated football club..(ok, the praise is too much, Barca has lost before a couple of times :-b ..). anyway, i`m so overexcited to watch all the 'SEMPOI' goals by Samuel Eto`o and Lionel Messi eventhough i didn`t watch it live :-( (it`s a huge different to watch it live than not, in term of the excitement of course! but anyway, somebody has uploaded the final match vid on Youtube! hooray!!)..I think that Man United is not as the same level as Barca, Barca had dominated the game from the start with great crossing, great attempts and they play in high spirits, only one goal is needed to sink down Man United spirit! although some attempts are made by CR7 and Ji Sung,the team seems to lost its spirit after the first goal by Eto`o..plus, Man United needs to improve their crossing skills, man, it`s horrible!)..

Manchester United has a great defense but Barca has the best strikers in the world!!..Barca has outwit, outshine,outplay and outlast among other football clubs in the world and with luck on their side was crowned as the Champion among the Champions in recent final Champions League 2009... Viva Barca!!

Say Subhanallah wa bihamdihi 100 times everyday!!!

I came across this wonderful hadith in Sahih Bukhari and i would like to share this hadith with all of you...

Narrated Abu Huraira (ra): Allah’s Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever says, ‘Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,’ one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea.”

Belive it or not, it took about 1 or 2 minutes to do this really simple zikr.. You can do this while waiting for the bus, getting to school, changing your clothes, fix your tudung (hehe), waiting for Muallim/Muallimah to get into class, while driving to school or work, waiting for your parents/school bus to fetch you up etc etc...

What does SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi mean?
"I deem Allah free of any resemblance to anything whatsoever in any respect, and I celebrate His Praises"

Adoyai….. Sedih bukan kepalang memikirkan nasib kamera tersayang pada ketika ini.. agaknya kat mana la pencuri tak berhati perut tu jualkan kameraku yg kucintai itu...Terduduk dan termanggu bila mendengar khabar rumah teman baik dipecah masuk, kamera kesayangan yg ditingglkan di rumah tersebut turut dicuri, bukan kamera aje, sekali dengan wire plus charger pon dirembatnya,sikit habuk pon tak tinggal buat kenang kenangan..dan sedih juga ada housematenye yg kehilangan laptop..
Hmmm...Sedih bangat sebab kamera tersebut dibeli hasil dari keringat sendiri.. plus, kamera tu dah kira jadi teman baik yg sangat2 disayangi.. kehilangannya amat dirasakan ..terkilan sesangat.. :-( dengan kamera tulah digunakan untuk ambil gambar aktiviti2 di sekolah, gambar dan video karnival sukan.. isk isk...

Sabar
Sautuljihad merasa bertuah jugak sebenarnya kerana dirinya telah terpilih lagi oleh Allah untuk menjalani sekali lagi ujian yg sangat memeritkan.. kamera yg hilang buat kedua kalinya... Tarbiyyah kehidupan secara tidak langsung ini sedikit sebanyak mengajar dirinya untuk ’tsabat’!! juga ini adalah satu petanda bahawa Allah s.w.t sangat menyayangi dirinya...

hmm.. Sautuljihad mengenangkan dirinya yg kadangkala tidak berapa islamik (or syadid? :-), ini adalah kerana latar belakang dirinya yg bukan dari sekolah yg islamik,kalau diikutkan waktu Form 5 beberapa tahun lepas di sekolah menengah biasa yg kurang islamik itu, Sautuljihad tidak mengetahui langsung akan makna perkataan2 seperti ’tarbiyyah, daei, harakah islamiiyyah, daulah, khilafah, fiqh Awlawiyyat,Ustaziatul Alam,muwosafat tarbiyyah’..dan perkataan2 yg sewaktu dengannya.. waktu itu, kalau ditanya akan perkataan2 ini pasti dijawab dengan muka blur yg amat ”Ha? Apa ke jadah?”....
Sautuljihad mula mengenali tarbiyyah, usrah dsbgnya adalah ketika di universiti..di tahun pertama pengajian.. kalau nak diikutkan, dirinya juga bukanlah pelajar dari Fakulti Pengajian Islam yg mahsyur itu.. tapi Sautuljihad sangat bersyukur kerana Allah telah memilih dirinya untuk mengenali jalan dakwah dan menyerahkan dirinya untuk ditarbiyyah..Alhamdulillah.. Sautuljihad mengakui dirinya masih baru di jalan dakwah, masih cuba men’tajdid’ diri dan mengikhlaskan diri... menurut pandangannya, tarbiyyah itu memerlukan masa, plus, perlukan kesabaran yg sangat banyak, peringkat demi peringkat, tahap demi tahap, barulah InsyaAllah mencapai tahap ’Khalifah’, ’Murobbiyah’ dan err..’Super Daei’ or ’Super Duper Daei’??..InsyaAllah..

Tajdid Month: It`s time to revive your Iman!!

This whole idea of Tajdid Month At al-Amin is really superb!. I guess the passing months were real hectic months for me; there goes Sports Carnival, KBM, English Lang Program with US Embassy, meetings,meetings and more meetings…. I didn’t sleep properly nor eat properly; same thing goes with my Ibadah L….. This month would be a perfect month for us all to rejuvenate our Iman, re-evaluate our Ibadah and purify our intention (niat)

Back To Basic

Going back to the basic of why Almighty Allah created us..

[And I (Allah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone). I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures).] (Adh-Dhariyat 51:56-57)

No one can deny the fact that Allah designed and subjugated the creation in order for man to fulfill the objective he was originally created for…to serve Allah and to Allah only. To live a life that is meaningful and blessed, we must have a goal that is worth striven for. Having no purpose of life is like having no life at all.

Set Goals

Set a goal for yourself during this month which you will do your best to achieve. Let that goal be to save you from Hellfire and to enjoy Allah’s pleasure and salvation.

In order for you to achieve that lofty goal, you will have to struggle yourself with all these matters below (just suggestions):

1. With Fasting

OK, according to the school rules, Thursday is the compulsory day for all Al-Amin staff and students to fast. Hopefully, we do not view this rule as mere ‘RULE’ to follow, but take the opportunity to gain deeds and follow the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet. (Sometimes I tend to forget, once, i unintentionally eat chocolate publicly, gee, I totally forgot that i`m fasting!! ..lol).

So do not cheat or lie or backbite or usurp others’ properties or gaze at what Allah has prohibited (the opposite sex). It is well-known that fasting is of three degrees:

1. Abstaining from food, drink, physical and mental desires.

2. Keeping your ears, eyes, tongue, hands, and feet, and all other bodily organs free from sins. Refraining from bad behavior such as lying, cheating, music, smoking, backbiting and slandering others to create animosity among them. The Prophet (peace be on him) said: "No slanderer shall enter the Jannah."

3. Avoiding occupying your heart with unworthy concerns and worldly thoughts, and upholding nothing in your heart but Allah the Almighty.

So, what holds you back from drawing nearer to Allah and being one of those very few people who observe fasting of that third and special degree?

With Standing in the Night in Prayer

It is highly recommended for you to observe Qiyam al-Layl (Night Prayer), for it was the practice of your righteous predecessors. Qiyam al-Layl brings you closer to your Lord, atones for your sins, drives disease from your body, and stops transgression. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

2. With the Quran

You can listen to the Quran being recited and you will get the same hassanat as if you were reading it yourself. Or you can take the opportunity to double up and top up your Hafazan.. it is advisable to make a checklist on what Surah or which ayyats have you successfully memorized

3. With Charity

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported to have said, “Give out charity, for it guarantees your salvation from Hellfire” (At-Tabarani). However, what if you do not know one or it is not that easy for you to access a charity every day? You could try to gather and combine your charity every 10 days, for example, and then give it out at once. Or, we could spare a lot of Tabung Palestine everywhere especially during recess at the School Hall.

4. With Dhikkir (Remembrance of Allah)

You can spend a lot of time just saying "Subhan Allah" or "Alhamdulilla" or "Astaghfir Allah" which will give you tons of hassanat.

5. Watching Religiuos Shows on TV or Youtube

There are a lot of amzing Islamic shows on TV and Youtube as well.. They constantly remind you of Allah and how close He is to us. You can watch all Islamic videos uploaded on Youtube (especially those made by brothers and sisters of Islamic Emirate of YT…hehe.. just promoting)

6. Supplication or D`uaa

Also, you can make Du'aa which is very important as a du`aa is “the believer’s weapon,” du`aa’ (supplication to Allah), in every situation. This is true of every situation that occurs for a Muslim in daily life. During fasting, stick to making du`aa’, because in this state you are nearer to Allah and your supplications are more likely to be accepted. Thus, you should make du`aa’ to Allah all the time and not forget that Allah responds to the invocations of the supplicant when he or she calls on Him sincerely from the heart. Allah says in His Ever-Glorious Qur’an:

[And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad—peace be upon him) concerning Me then (answer them) I am indeed near (to them by My knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright.] (Al-Baqarah 2:186)

7. Massive Da`wah Campaign

Launch a massive da`wah campaign to the whole school, distribute flyers, little books, pamphletes, Hadith or Quran reminders on the school walls, give salam etc etc...

Last but not least, performing the other acts of worship and duties is most important, and Salat in particular, without which no other act of worship, is accepted by Allah. Praying in congregation is a great aspect in our religion. Everyone should attend: its reward is twenty seven times greater than that which is performed individually. The Prophet (peace be on him) was just about to burn the houses on those who did not attend the congregational prayers (strictly for men).

Ookeh Dokkie..since that i`m the one who`s typing this posting, I should be the first one to accomplish what i`ve typed. Ya Allah, give me a LOT OF STRENGTH …Amin…

There are a great number of anti-Islamic videos on Youtube posted by Islamophobes.. ( type the keyword 'islam' on YT search engine) .. plus, there are also a lot of shi`a videos and other videos which can provoke confusion among Muslims and non-Muslims.. Islamophobes utilizing YouTube to launch an attack against Islam by uploading anti-islamic videos and spread false information about Islam and Prophet Muhammad, not just that, they have their own groups and launch massive attack by collectively flagging da`wah and islamic videos or to suspend a user account.. therefore, there is an urge to unite all the Muslims Users on Youtube and establish our own group (also known as Khilafah) in order to spread da`wah, clear misconceptions on Islam, defense Islam and counter massive attack from Islamophobes... besides anti-Islamic videos on YT... there are a lot of people on YT searching for the Truth, some of them wanted to know what is the real Islam, who is Prophet Muhamad and they search the information on Youtube, ( may Allah guides them).. and many of them ended up as Muslims (reverts)..Alhamdulillah
YT can be our platform of spreading da`wah, which is the major and biggest sunnah of our beloved Prophet.. Insha`Allah..think about all the good deeds that we can make by spreading da`wah and Islam (which is a must obligation of every Muslim)

In anything that we do in life to provide oraganization to a particuliar group or activities, there must a leader. Many people dislike being lead because they might feel like they will be dealt with unjustly.

If a leader is following the Quran and Sunnah there is no need to fear.

Some might say this is just YT not real life, but in reality it has plenty do with real life. Every video that is uploaded on YouTube is viewed by many Muslims and non, if a video is made and contradicts the Quran and Sunnah and portrays Islam in a bad way. It is our duty to ask the user to remove that video and the best and organized way to do this is by having an Amir (leader) and his advisors.
Uploading videos that distort Islam on YT or any other video sharing site can be damaging to the way Non-Muslims view Islam and it is not a game (taken from MuslimYT channel).

The Greatest Man Ever!

"O Muhammad, We have not sent you but as a blessing for all the Worlds"
(Noble Quran 21:107)

He was born in Arabia in the year 570 C.E. (Common Era), started his mission of preaching the religion of Truth, Islam (submission to One God at the age of forty and departed from this world at the age of sixty-three.

During this short period of 23 years of his prophethood, he changed the complete Arabian Peninsula from paganism and idolatry to worship of One God, from tribal quarrels and wars to national solidarity and cohesion, from drunkenness and debauchery to sobriety and piety, from lawlessness and anarchy to disciplined living, from utter bankruptcy to the highest standards of moral excellence. Human history has never known such a complete transformation of a people or a place before or since - and IMAGINE all these unbelievable wonders in JUST OVER TWO DECADES.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a religious teacher, a social reformer, a moral guide, an administrative colossus, a faithful friend, a wonderful companion, a devoted husband, a loving father - all in one. No other man in history ever excelled or equaled him in any of these different aspects of life - but it was only for the selfless personality of Muhammad (peace be upon him) to achieve such incredible perfection.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) was nothing more or less than a human being. But he was a man with a noble mission, which was to unite humanity on the worship of ONE and ONLY ONE GOD and to teach them the way to honest and upright living based on the commands of God. He always described himself as, 'A Servant and Messenger of God' and so indeed every action of his proclaimed to be.
Prophet Muhammad from A to Z

A. His names: When he was born, his grandfather, Abdul Mutalib, gave him the name Muhammad. And it means "praised one" or "praising one." He was later called "As-Saddiq" (the Truthful) by all of those who knew of his truthful and honest nature. He always said only the truth. He was also called "Al-Amin" (the Trustworthy) due to his integrity and always upholding any trust given to him. When the tribes were battling against each other, both sides would entrust him with their possessions during the fighting, even if it might be against some of his own tribesmen, because they knew he would always uphold any trust given to him. All of his names indicated the very nature of a man who was praised for his honesty, integrity and trustworthiness. He was also well known for advocating the reconciliation of kinship and relationships. He ordered his followers to always honor the "ties of the wombs" (siblings and other close relatives).
This fits right in with the prophecy mentioned in the Bible in the Book of John in chapters 14 and 16, as the coming of a prophet known as the "Spirit of Truth" or "Comforter" or "Advocate.

B. Born as a descendent of Abraham (peace be upon him) through his first born son, Ishmael (Ismail in Arabic) (peace be upon him) to the noble tribe of the Quraish who were the leaders of Makkah in those days. Muhammad's blood line traces directly back to Abraham (peace be upon him).
This could certainly point to fulfillment of Old Testament (Torah) prophecies in Deuteronomy (chapter 18:15) of a prophet, like unto Moses from "their brethren.

C. He kept the Commandments of Almighty God, just as his great grandfathers and prophets of old had done in the past (peace be upon them). Here is a statement from Muhammad (peace be upon him) while the Quran was being revealed to him by the angel Gabriel;
"Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Join not anything in worship with Him; be good and dutiful to your PARENTS; do not kill your children because of poverty - (Allah) provide sustenance for you and for them; do not come near to Al-Fawahish (shameful sins, illegal sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, and kill not anyone whom Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. This He has commanded you that you may understand."[Noble Quran 6:151]

D. Muhammad (peace be upon him) lived in total commitment to his Belief in One God, and as such, He was to be worshipped alone, without any other "gods" beside Him. This is the very first commandment in the Old Testament (Exodus chapter 20 and Deuteronomy, chapter 5) and in the New Testament as well (Mark, chapter 12, verse 29).
E. Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered his followers to obey Allah Almighty. He ordered following the Commandments as were revealed to him by the angel Gabriel from Almighty Allah. Read below, one of many similar statements from the Quran:
Surely, Allah Commands absolute justice and steadfast commitment to performing your duties to Almighty Allah, in total sincerity and giving help to relatives: and He forbids evil, and disobedience and all that is prohibited by Allah (such as; illegal sexual acts, disobedience of PARENTS, polytheism, to tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life without right, etc.), and (He Forbids) any evil (i.e. all that is prohibited by God's Law, such as: polytheism of every kind, disbelief and every kind of evil deeds, etc.), and all kinds of oppression, He admonishes you, that you may take heed.
[Noble Quran 16:90]

F. Muhammad (peace be upon him) never fell into the common practice of his tribesmen to worship statues, idols or man-made "gods." He forbid his followers to ever engage in worship outside of the One True God (Allah) of Adam, Abraham, Moses and all the prophets, peace be upon them all.
And the people of the Scripture Jews and Christians did not differed amongst themselves until after there came to them clear evidence.
And they were commanded only to worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone (no gods beside God), and perform prayers and give charity: and that is the right religion.[Noble Quran 98:4-5]
He despised false worship to any man-made gods or images or anything in creation as a god. He hated all of the complexities and degradation to which it leads.

This is in direct obedience to the second commandment in the above mentioned verses, "Thou shalt not make any graven images."

G. Muhammad (peace be upon him) always held the Name of God (Allah) in the highest of reverence and never took God's Name in vain or for any vainglorious purpose.

He forbid his followers for ever doing anything like this and encouraged them to use names such as "Servant of Almighty God" (Abdullah).

H. Muhammad (peace be upon him) upheld the proper worship and ceremonies of his grandfathers, Abraham and Ishmael, peace be upon them. Here is something from the second chapter of the Quran. Read closely;

"Recall when Abraham's Lord (Allah) tested him with Commands, that he fulfilled. Allah said, "Surely, I am going to make you a leader (prophet) of mankind. (Abraham said) "And my offspring, too." (Allah) said, "My Covenant (prophethood, etc.) does not include wrong-doers (thalimun).
"And recall when (Allah) made the House (ka'bah in Bakkah, which later was called "Makkah") a place of resort for mankind and a place of safety. And it is your place of prayer, and (Allah) commanded Abraham and Ishmael to purify (God's House at Makkah) for those who are circling it, or staying there or bowing or prostrating themselves (there, in worship).
"And when Abraham said, 'My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, for them that believe in Allah Almighty and the Last Day.' (Allah) answered, "As for him who doesn't believe, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him t the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!"
"And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the Sacred House (Ka'bah in Makkah), saying, 'Our Lord! Accept from us. Certainly! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.'"
"Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manasik (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - Hajj and 'Umrah, etc.), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.
"Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own (and indeed Allah answered by sending Muhammad Peace be upon him ), who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (this Quran) and full knowledge of (Allah's) Laws and jurisprudence, and sanctify them. Verily! You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."
And who turns away from the religion of Abraham (Monotheism) except him who fools himself? Truly, (Allah) chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.
When his Lord said to him, "Submit ("Islam" means "submission")!" He said, "I have submitted myself ("Muslim" means "one who submits") to the Lord of all that exists."
And this (submission to Allah) was ordered by Abraham upon his sons and by Jacob; saying, "O my sons! Allah has chosen for you the (true) religion; then die not except in the Faith of Submission (like those in true submission to God's Will)."[Noble Quran 2:124-132]

I. Muhammad (peace be upon him) performed these same ceremonies in worship to what we find the prophets doing before him, bowing to toward the ground and prostrating (falling on the face) while praying and worshipping. He would face Jerusalem for his devotionals and commanded his followers to do the same (until Allah sent down the angel Gabriel with revelation to change the direction (qibal) mentioned in Quran).

J. Muhammad (peace be upon him) advocated rights for all members of the family and especially ties to the parents, both mother and father, also rights for infant girls, orphaned girls and certainly for wives, as well.

It is known from the Quran, Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered his followers to be kind and respectful to their parents. They were told not to even say, "Ooh" to them while caring for them in their old age. Read from the Quran:

And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honor.
[Noble Quran 17:23]

K. Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the defender of the orphans and even the newborn children. He ordered the care of orphans and feeding of the poor as the means to enter Paradise and if anyone held back the rights of those who were destitute, they could forget about ever seeing Paradise. He also forbade the killing of new born girls, as was a custom of ignorance according to primitive Arab traditions. This is referred to in the Quran; when, on the Day of Judgment those who practiced the evil deed of terminating the life of their own infant daughters, will have it exposed, the Quran says:
"And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) is going to be asked; about what sin could she (as an infant) have possibly committed."
[Noble Quran 81:8]
Those who spend their wealth (in Allah's Cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
[Noble Quran 2:274]

L. Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered men not to "inherit women against their will," and not to marry them accept by mutual consent and never to touch their wealth or inheritance in order to improve their own financial conditions.
O you who believe! You are forbidden to inherit women against their will, and you should not treat them with harshness, that you may take away part of the Mahr you have given them, unless they commit open illegal sexual intercourse. And live with them honorably. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allah brings through it a great deal of good.
[Noble Quran 4:19]
We also notice from this verse, He forbid the common practice of wife-beating and abuse, (his own wife said he never once hit her).

He never once engaged in sex outside of marriage, nor did he ever approve of it, even though it was very common at the time. His only relationships with women were in legitimate, contractual marriages with proper witnesses according to law. His relationship to Ayesha was only that of marriage. He did not marry her the first time her father offered her hand to him in marriage. He married her only after she reached the age of puberty and could decide for herself. Their relationship is described in every detail by Ayesha herself in the most loving and respectful manner as a match truly made in heaven. Ayesha is considered as one of the highest scholars of Islam and lived out her entire life only having been married to Muhammad (peace be upon him). She never desired any other man, nor did she ever utter a single negative statement against Muhammad (peace be upon him).

M. Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered men to "provide and protect" women, whether it was their own mother, sister, wife or daughter or even those of others, whether they were Muslims or not.
"Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support the women) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allah and to their husbands), and guard in the husband's absence what Allah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband's property, etc.).
As to those women on whose part you see ill conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, startle them (set forth a clear example or parable for them, to make clear the point of what is going on before divorcing them) so if they return to proper obedience (to Allah and their husbands), do not annoy them any further. Surely, Allah is Ever Most High, Most Great."
[Noble Quran 4:34]

N. Muhammad (peace be upon him) prohibited killing of children for fear of poverty and also forbade killing any innocent people.

Say (O Muhammad Peace be upon him): "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Join not anything in worship with Him; be good and dutiful to your parents; kill not your children because of poverty - We provide sustenance for you and for them; come not near to Al-Fawahish (shameful sins, illegal sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, and kill not anyone whom Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause (according to Law). This He has commanded you that you may understand.
[Noble Quran 6:151]

O. Muhammad (peace be upon him) never committed adultery, and he required his followers to engage only in lawful marriage relationships with women, and forbid sex outside of Almighty God's Ordinance.
Satan (the devil) threatens you with poverty and orders you to commit Fahsha (evil deeds, illegal sexual intercourse, sins etc.); whereas Allah promises you Forgiveness from Himself and Bounty, and Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower.
[Noble Quran 2:268]

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al­Fawahish (great evil sins, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with Allah for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge." (Noble Quran 7:33]
And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a Fahishah [i.e. anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allah forgives him).[Noble Quran 17:32]

The adulterer marries not but an adulteress or a Mushrikah and the adulteress none marries her except an adulterer or a Muskrik [and that means that the man who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a Mushrikah (female polytheist, pagan or idolatress) or a prostitute, then surely he is either an adulterer, or a Mushrik (polytheist, pagan or idolater, etc.) And the woman who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a Mushrik (polytheist, pagan or idolater) or an adulterer, then she is either a prostitute or a Mushrikah (female polytheist, pagan, or idolatress, etc.)]. Such a thing is forbidden to the believers (of Islamic Monotheism).[Noble Quran 24:3]

Verily, those who like that (the crime of) illegal sexual intercourse should be propagated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you know not.
[Noble Quran 24:19]

O Prophet! When believing women come to you to give you the pledge, that they will not associate anything in worship with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit illegal sexual intercourse, that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood (i.e. by making illegal children belonging to their husbands), and that they will not disobey you in any Ma'ruf (Islamic Monotheism and all that which Islam ordains) then accept their Bai'a (pledge), and ask Allah to forgive them, Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[Noble Quran 60:12]
People committed fornication and adultery in most places around the word in Muhammad's time, yet he never once did so, and he forbade all of his followers from this evil practice.

P. Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade usury and interest on money lending, as Jesus (peace be upon him) had done centuries before him. It can be easily shown how usury eats away at wealth and destroys the economic systems throughout history. Yet, just as in the teachings of the prophets of old, Muhammad (peace be upon him) held that such practices were most evil and must be avoided in order to be at peace with the Creator (Allah).
Those who eat usury (deal in interest) will not stand (on the Day of Resurrection) except like the standing of a person beaten by Satan leading him to insanity. That is because they say: "Trading is only like usury," whereas Allah has permitted trading and forbidden usury. So whosoever receives an admonition from his Lord and stops eating usury shall not be punished for the past; his case is for Allah (to judge); but whoever returns to dealing in usury, such are the dwellers of the Fire - they will abide therein.
Allah will destroy Riba (usury) and will give increase for charity, alms, etc. And Allah likes not the disbelievers, sinners.
Truly those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and perform Salat, and give Zakat, they will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
You who believe! Be afraid of Allah and give up what remains (due to you) from usury, if you are believers.
And if you do not do it, then take a notice of war from Allah and His Messenger but if you repent, you shall have your capital sums. Deal not unjustly, and you shall not be dealt with unjustly.
[Noble Quran 2:275-279]

Q. Muhammad (peace be upon him) never gambled and did not allow it. Like usury, gambling takes away wealth but at an even faster pace.
"People ask you (Muhammad) about alcohol and gambling. Say, 'There is great sin in both of them and (some benefit) for humans, but the sin is greater than any benefit from them.' And they ask you what they should spend (for charity, etc.). Say, 'Whatever is above your basic needs.' So, Allah makes it clear to you His Laws in order for you to give thought.[Noble Quran 2:219]

Gambling had not been viewed as so evil until the time of Muhammad, peace be upon. Today, it is well established the damage gambling causes to families and even mental health. The idea of getting something for nothing is not the proper way of life prescribed by the teachings of Muhammad (peace be upon him).

R. Muhammad (peace be upon him) never drank alcohol or strong drink, even though it was a very normal thing for people of his time and place.
"O you believers! Intoxicating drinks, gambling, fortune telling, etc. is the hated work of the devil. So stay away from all of that horrible stuff, that you will be successful."
"The devil only wants to create hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks, etc.) and gambling and to keep you from the remembrance of Allah and from your proper worship (prayers). So, why won't you away from them?"
[Noble Quran 5:90-91]

The Arabs, like most other cultures at his time, drank alcohol without concern for their health or for their altered behavior while intoxicated. Many of them were alcoholics.

In today's world there is little need to present long discussions on the evil and dangers of drinking alcohol. Besides causing diseases and ruining a person's health, alcohol is often attributed to be the cause of many traffic accidents resulting in property damage, injuries and deaths. The first order was for the followers of Muhammad (peace be upon him) to leave off drinking while engaged in worship, then came stronger orders to leave drinking all together. Thus, offering a time for the early Muslims to break off from their addiction to strong drink.

S. Muhammad (peace be upon him) did not engage in gossip or backbiting and he always turned away from hearing anything related to it.

O you who believe! If a rebellius evil person comes to you with a news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done. [Noble Quran 49:6]

O you who believe! Do not allow one group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former; nor let (some) women scoff at other women, it may be that the latter are better than the former, nor defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. How bad is it, to insult one's brother after having Faith? And whosoever does not repent, then such are indeed wrong-doers.
O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful
[Noble Quran 49:11-12]
Certainly, these teachings would be well appreciated in today's world where we find almost everyone engaging in the worst of gossiping and insulting of others, even the closest of relatives and loved ones.

T. Muhammad (peace be upon him) was most generous and encouraged others to be the same way in their dealings with others. He even asked them to forgive the debts of others with hope of receiving a better reward with their Lord (Allah).
And if the debtor is in a hard time (has no money), then grant him time till it is easy for him to repay, but if you remit it by way of charity, that is better for you if you did but know.
And be afraid of the Day when you shall be brought back to Allah. Then every person shall be paid what he earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly
[Noble Quran 2:280-281]

S. Muhammad (peace be upon him) commanded the payment of charity to the poor and he was the defender and protector of widows, orphans and the wayfarers.

"Therefore, do not oppress the orphan, nor repulse the beggar."
[Noble Quran 93:9-10]
Charity is for the poor, who in Allah's Cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land (for trade or work). The one who knows them not, thinks that they are rich because of their modesty. You may know them by their mark, they do not beg of people at all. And whatever you spend in good, surely Allah knows it well.
[Noble Quran 2:273]
U. Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught people how to deal with the most extreme difficulties and tests that occur to us throughout our lives. He held that only through patience and a humble attitude would we find true resolution and understanding of life's complications and disappointments. He the most patient of all and was exemplary in his own humbleness. All who knew him had to admit to these virtues.
O you who believe! Seek help in patience and the prayer. Truly! Allah is with the patient ones.
[Noble Quran 2:153]
He explained this life was a test from Allah:


And certainly, Allah shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient ones.
[Noble Quran 2:155]
Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return."
[Noble Quran 2:156]

V. Muhammad (peace be upon him) fasted for days at a time to be closer to Almighty God and away from the narrowness of worldly attractions.

O you who believe! Observing the fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become pious.
[Noble Quran 2:183]

W. Muhammad (peace be upon him) called for an end to racism and tribalism from the beginning to the end of his mission. He was truly the peacemaker for all times and all people.

O mankind! (Allah) has created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that (believer) who is one of the pious. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware
[Noble Quran 49:13]
And in another verse of the Quran:

O mankind! Have piety and be most dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife (Eve), and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever an All­Watcher over you.
[Noble Quran 4:1]


X. Regarding keeping up good relationships and bringing people back together after a falling out, the Quran says:

And if two parties or groups among the believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both, but if one of them rebels against the other, then fight you (all) against the one that which rebels till it complies with the Command of Allah; then if it complies, then make reconciliation between them justly, and be equitable. Verily! Allah loves those who are equitable.
The believers are nothing else than brothers to each other. So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy.[Noble Quran 49:9-10]

Y. Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that Jesus (peace be upon him) was the immaculate conception and miracle birth of Mary, and that she was the best creation of Almighty God. He insisted even to the Jews of Madinah, that Jesus (peace be upon him) was the Messiah, the Christ, the one predicted to come in their Torah (Old Testament). He also taught that Jesus (peace be upon him) did many miracles by the permission of Almighty God, curing the lepers, restoring sight to the blind and even bringing a dead man back to life, and he was not dead, rather Almighty God had raised him up. He also predicted Jesus (peace be upon him) is going to return again in the Last Days to lead the true believers in a victory over the evil and unrighteous people, and he will destroy the Anti-Christ.

Z. Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade any killing, even when his followers were being killed, until the orders for retaliation came from Allah. Even then the limits were clearly spelled out and only those engaged in active combat against the Muslims or Islam were to be fought in combat. And even then, only according to very strict rules from Allah.
